Additional Ways to Give

Traditional funding sources alone cannot support our mission, and financial support is critical for continued progress. As a donor to our foundation, you can help us transform lives.

There are many ways to give, and you may direct your gift to the initiatives that are most meaningful to you:

  • With support for the General Endowment, Penn-Mar pioneers groundbreaking programs that empower individuals to secure employment, contribute to their communities, build a network of social relationships, and create opportunities for life-long learning. For those with unique needs that require specialized support, the General Endowment provides for a structured, sensory environment that best meets the needs of the individual.
  • The work of transforming life in to living takes complex critical thinking, problem solving, and advocacy skills. The Michael James Pitts Endowment for the Advancement of Direct Support Professionals provides professional training and compensation beyond the basics that results in greater care consistency and quality, and ultimately enables the individuals we support to live higher-quality lives.
  • Honor the life of a family member or friend with a Memorial gift that will help Penn-Mar continue to provide exceptional programs and services that transform life in to living.
  • A General Donation will allow Penn-Mar to use the funds wherever the greatest need currently exists.

All gifts to the Penn-Mar Foundation qualify for federal tax deductions and may be made by cash, check, credit card, securities, or foundation gifts and may be annual or monthly recurring gifts. The Foundation will recognize your generosity through our Giving Circles.

A planned gift in your estate can further the work of Penn-Mar, while benefiting you. For more information on planned giving, click here.
